Brewster Private Road Coach "The Old Sport" including wooden steps and leather coachman accessory case, sells without lamps, sells with pole, 75" x 13′ x 99"H -Older restoration > HISTORY: The Private Road Coach shares the size and hardiness of its mail or commercial coach "cousin" but does not carry the names of the cities visited or "passengers for hire" overtones. >> PROVENANCE: Built in 1907 by Brewster & Co. of New York for Mr Paul A. Sorg, a Wall Street financier, mainly of railways. It was one of the last coaches built by Brewster and its selling price was $2,650. It joined the Cormack Collection in the 1980’s. *NOTE: BUYER TO ARRANGE PICKUP. This item MUST be removed from the premises by JUNE 27.
